Itel Solar Energy has launched its first official sales and service hub in Nigeria at Alaba International Market, Lagos, in a strategic bid to provide affordable and reliable solar power solutions to millions of Nigerians grappling with chronic energy challenges.
The company announced the opening on Monday, describing the move as a major step toward accelerating access to sustainable energy alternatives in one of the country’s busiest commercial centres. The new hub is designed to serve both retail customers and small businesses with a full suite of solar energy products and services.
The facility offers a range of solar products including panels, inverters, batteries, and all-in-one home energy systems, alongside professional installation and robust after-sales support. The launch event drew energy sector stakeholders and potential customers, with live product demonstrations and expert consultations.
Speaking at the launch, Itel Solar Energy’s Public Relations Manager, Olaotan Fawehinmi, said the initiative is about more than just selling products. “We are excited to bring Itel Solar Energy’s affordable and reliable solar solutions to Alaba Market,” he said. “But beyond affordability, what sets us apart is the solid quality of our products and our commitment to after-sales service.”
Fawehinmi highlighted that the company provides a three-year replacement warranty on inverters and a five-year replacement warranty on batteries—an uncommon offer in the Nigerian solar market. He also pointed to the co-location of a Carlcare service centre within the same building, ensuring immediate technical support for customers. Carlcare centres are available in all 36 states and the FCT, providing nationwide customer care.
Targeted at meeting Nigeria’s diverse energy demands, the company’s offerings are designed for easy use and minimal maintenance, especially in a country where reliance on erratic public power supply and expensive, often hazardous, generators remains widespread.
One of the standout introductions at the new hub is Itel’s range of plug-and-play All-in-One solar systems, including the 3.6kWh and 500W models. These units require no installation and are aimed at users looking for quick, portable power solutions.
“We recognise diverse energy needs,” Fawehinmi noted. “Our customised solutions empower homes, shops, and small businesses alike, giving them reliable alternatives to stay productive.”
With this launch, Itel Solar Energy is positioning itself as a player committed not only to clean energy, but also to transforming how Nigerians access and experience power—one hub at a time.
