The MannyVille Series is accelerating digital inclusion across Africa by providing mentorship, training, and resources for young professionals seeking careers in technology, the organisers announced on Sunday.
As a monthly virtual tech event under ITAV Limited, the initiative has played a key role in transitioning young Africans into the tech industry, offering learning opportunities and career growth.
Impact on Participants
📌 Cynthia Uduma credited the platform for helping her shift into Artificial Intelligence (AI).
“Joining the MannyVille Series was transformative. It ignited my interest in AI, helped me transition into the IT division at my workplace, and later secured me a scholarship for a master’s programme in AI in the UK.”
📌 Mayowa Agoro, another beneficiary, received a laptop that helped her complete cybersecurity training through the Cybersafe Foundation’s Cyber Girls Programme.
“A MannyVille session on Instagram changed everything. After contributing to a discussion, I was selected to pitch for a laptop, which I won. That support allowed me to prepare for exams and advance my career.”
Beyond Mentorship: Hands-on Digital Training
The MannyVille Series extends beyond mentorship by offering:
✅ Clarity sessions with industry experts
✅ Digital literacy training through Single Click Academy
✅ Boot camps covering soft skills like time management

Emmanuel Asika’s passion for digital inclusion stems from his Nigerian upbringing, where collaboration and shared progress shaped his values.
“My childhood was shaped by the African ethos of ‘It takes a village.’ Ensuring access, equity, and opportunity are realities, not privileges, has been my lifelong commitment.”
