Nigeria’s e-commerce giant, Konga, has launched a major nationwide discount campaign for April, slashing prices by as much as 70% across a wide range of categories under its Easter Fiesta Campaign.
The month-long promotion, which kicked off on April 1, is designed to attract price-conscious shoppers amid ongoing economic headwinds. The company says the initiative builds on the momentum of its recently concluded Ramadan campaign, offering substantial savings on tech, fashion, appliances, home goods, and fast-moving consumer items.
In a statement made available to the press on Monday, Konga described the campaign as a strategic move to provide relief to consumers while reinforcing customer loyalty through value-driven shopping experiences.
“With the current economic challenges, the Easter Fiesta Campaign gives Nigerians a chance to shop smarter and get more value for their money,” the statement read. “Whether for gifting, upgrading the home, or simply treating oneself, this initiative meets shoppers at the point of their needs.”
Central to the campaign is a push toward mobile-first shopping. The company is offering exclusive deals and discount coupons accessible only via the Konga app—an approach it says aligns with its broader digital growth strategy and enhances user convenience.
Also playing a pivotal role is KongaPay, the firm’s digital payment platform. Besides enabling fast and secure transactions, users can earn up to 28% returns on their savings, which the company touts as a major incentive for budget-conscious consumers.
To address logistics concerns during the high-demand Easter period, Konga is deploying its same-day delivery service, KongaNow, in key cities including Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt.
As Nigeria’s cost of living continues to rise, Konga’s Easter Fiesta offers consumers a rare opportunity to stretch their purchasing power without compromising on quality or convenience.
