Global data encryption leader Futurex has entered into a strategic partnership with Spire Solutions, a leading Middle East and Africa value-added distributor, to accelerate access to advanced encryption and key management solutions for enterprises across the region.
The partnership, announced on Thursday, aims to empower organisations in banking, government, telecommunications, and other large-scale sectors to deploy scalable, compliance-driven, and future-ready cybersecurity systems.
The collaboration comes amid a surge in digital transformation across the Middle East, where the cybersecurity market is projected to grow from $16.75 billion in 2025 to $26.04 billion by 2030, driven by national initiatives such as Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, Kuwait’s Vision 2035, and the UAE’s National Cybersecurity Strategy.
John Doley, Vice President of Sales for the Middle East at Futurex, said the partnership reinforces the company’s investment in regional infrastructure and expertise.
“Teaming up with Spire Solutions gives us an added advantage, allowing our world-class encryption and key management solutions to reach Middle Eastern enterprises with the support of local expertise and extensive regional reach,” Doley stated.
He noted that Futurex’s unified data protection platform, CryptoHub, is the world’s fastest and most scalable encryption system — designed to simplify enterprise security through a cloud-ready model that reduces cost and complexity while ensuring compliance.
“By bringing our cloud HSMs into the region, we enable customers to meet strict data sovereignty requirements, boost performance by reducing latency, and lower the cost of maintaining standalone solutions,” Doley added.
Spire Solutions’ Chief Operating Officer, Syed Quadri, said the partnership comes at a critical time as digital transformation accelerates across the region.
“Enterprises can’t afford to compromise on security. This partnership with Futurex delivers next-generation encryption and key management tools that meet today’s compliance and data sovereignty needs while preparing organisations for future challenges like post-quantum cryptography,” Quadri said.
The partnership supports regulatory frameworks including Saudi Arabia’s SAMA Cybersecurity Framework, the UAE’s NESA guidelines, and Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law. It also responds to the rising demand for Bring Your Own Key (BYOK), Hold Your Own Key (HYOK), and HSM-as-a-Service solutions among regional financial and technology sectors.
By combining Futurex’s CryptoHub platform with Spire’s regional reach, the collaboration is expected to strengthen the Middle East and Africa’s cybersecurity ecosystem, enhance data sovereignty, and enable secure cloud adoption — a cornerstone of the region’s digital economy.
