Infinix has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the Infinix NOTE Edge, marking the world’s first device powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset and debuting the company’s XOS 16 operating system. The launch signals Infinix’s commitment to bringing advanced technology to mid-range devices.
Co-developed with MediaTek, the NOTE Edge delivers stable 5G connectivity with low power consumption, optimized for everyday use and even areas with poor reception. The smartphone’s performance ensures smooth multitasking, high-frame-rate gaming, and stable streaming, while advanced power-management reduces battery drain.
XOS 16 introduces a refreshed interface with Glow Space design, semi-transparent UI elements, and 3D spatial wallpapers, offering smoother touch interactions, improved responsiveness, and cross-platform features like Live Photo transfer with iPhone.
By integrating the Dimensity 7100 chipset with XOS 16, the NOTE Edge demonstrates a rare level of hardware-software coordination in the mid-range market, combining efficiency, performance, and user experience in one device.
The Infinix NOTE Edge is set to officially launch on January 19, 2026, with more details expected in forthcoming announcements.
