Eccentric Services Ltd has continued its campaign for financial literacy and investment awareness by empowering Nigerians with practical knowledge on wealth creation, financial planning, and capital market participation.
The company said it remains committed to helping individuals and businesses understand how strategic investments and disciplined financial management can provide long-term economic stability despite prevailing economic uncertainties.
Speaking during a press briefing, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the organisation, James Efe, stated that financial illiteracy remains one of the major reasons many Nigerians struggle to build sustainable wealth.
According to him, a large number of citizens continue to depend entirely on salaries and traditional business activities without exploring regulated investment opportunities capable of generating passive income and preserving wealth.
Efe explained that his passion for financial education and wealth management was inspired by his personal experiences while running a poultry business alongside his consulting profession.
He revealed that inflation, rising operational expenses, and declining purchasing power made profitability increasingly difficult for small business operators.
According to him, feed prices and transportation costs continued to rise, creating serious pressure for entrepreneurs operating within competitive markets.
The investment professional noted that although the poultry business generated revenue, most of the earnings were consumed by expenses, leaving little profit for sustainable expansion.
At the same time, however, his investments in treasury bills and equities continued to produce encouraging returns, motivating him to pay closer attention to opportunities available within the financial market.
“That experience helped me realise that many Nigerians need better understanding of investment opportunities and wealth management strategies capable of improving their future,” he said.
Efe disclosed that he is currently undergoing advanced training in Wealth Management at the New York Institute of Finance.
He explained that the company was established to simplify investment education and provide practical financial guidance for Nigerians seeking long-term financial security.
The company currently offers services including stock market education, brokerage account setup, liquidity planning, swing trading in fundamentally strong stocks, dividend recovery, share recovery, and strategic asset allocation for individuals and organisations.
According to Efe, strategic asset allocation helps investors manage risks effectively while positioning themselves for sustainable financial returns.
He stressed that many Nigerians still leave substantial amounts of money idle in traditional savings accounts despite inflation steadily reducing the purchasing value of those funds.
The CEO identified poor financial literacy and distrust caused by previous fraudulent investment schemes as major obstacles discouraging Nigerians from participating in legitimate financial markets.
Despite these concerns, he maintained that regulated investment products such as equities and treasury bills remain reliable channels for wealth creation when approached with proper education and discipline.
Efe advised Nigerians to become more intentional about savings and investments in order to protect themselves during emergencies and periods of economic instability.
Since commencing operations in 2024, Eccentric Services Ltd disclosed that it has trained more than 1,000 investors across Nigeria and among Nigerians in the diaspora community.
The company added that it currently oversees a growing network of more than 500 active investors interested in wealth creation and financial planning.
It also revealed that the organisation has successfully facilitated over 50 dividend recovery and share recovery cases for clients.
Efe emphasized that financial education remains an essential tool for economic empowerment and future stability.
He encouraged professionals, entrepreneurs, and young Nigerians to embrace investment opportunities capable of generating passive income and preserving wealth for future generations.
According to him, wealth creation requires discipline, patience, consistency, and informed decision-making.
The company reiterated its commitment to improving financial literacy, increasing awareness about regulated investment opportunities, and helping Nigerians achieve sustainable wealth through strategic financial planning.
