A 21-year-old undergraduate of the University of Lagos, Al-amin Abdulbhaqi, has been awarded a brand-new car by Edala Development after closing real estate deals worth over N200 million, becoming the company’s top-performing student realtor.
The car presentation, which took place in Lagos, was part of Edala’s performance incentive programme aimed at recognising and motivating high-performing young talents within its expanding network of sales partners.
Co-founders of Edala Development, Temidayo Oloyede and Samuel Olatunde, personally handed over the keys to Abdulbhaqi, commending his resilience, consistency, and drive despite the pressures of academic life.
Abdulbhaqi, who is juggling academic commitments with a growing career in real estate, broke sales records while attending lectures and writing exams—an achievement hailed as both extraordinary and inspiring by professionals in the property sector.
“Al-amin’s story is a powerful example of what’s possible when ambition meets the right support system,” Oloyede said. “He has proven that success in real estate is not about age but about grit, consistency, and smart work.”
Echoing the sentiment, Olatunde added, “At Edala, we don’t just build properties; we build people. Our realtor ecosystem is designed to empower anyone willing to learn and grow. Al-amin seized that opportunity and ran with it.”
Edala Development, known for its youth-focused mentorship and performance-based rewards, said it remains committed to nurturing the next generation of real estate entrepreneurs through hands-on training, structured support, and attractive incentives.
Abdulbhaqi’s rise from student to real estate standout has already inspired a growing number of Nigerian youths exploring property entrepreneurship as a viable path to financial independence.
Reacting to the award, the young realtor remained modest. “This is just the beginning,” he said. “I’m grateful to Edala for the platform. I want to go even bigger.”
With initiatives like this, Edala Development continues to position itself as a trailblazer in inclusive, youth-driven growth within Nigeria’s booming real estate sector.
