Jetpay, a fintech and cryptocurrency company owned by Blord Group, is expanding its crypto business across Nigeria with plans to open additional regional offices, as it seeks to deepen market reach and attract more users to digital asset trading.
The move follows several years of operations focused on cryptocurrency conversion, payments, and gift-card trading, and reflects a broader push by Nigerian fintech firms to scale amid rising demand for alternative financial services.
The expansion was disclosed by Blord Group founder, Linus Ifejirika, in a video shared on his verified Facebook page. He said Jetpay has maintained uninterrupted crypto trading operations for seven years, citing reliability and fast settlement as competitive advantages in a market often affected by service disruptions.
Growing Crypto Adoption in Nigeria
Nigeria remains one of Africa’s largest cryptocurrency markets. As of 2025, an estimated 22 million Nigerians—about 10.3 per cent of the population—own or use cryptocurrencies, driven largely by inflation hedging, remittances, and cross-border transactions.
Projections for 2026 suggest continued growth, with 27 to 30 million active users expected and penetration rising to approximately 11.8 per cent, according to Statista estimates.
Against this backdrop, Jetpay’s decision to establish more physical offices underscores confidence in Nigeria’s fast-growing, though still loosely regulated, digital asset market.
Expanding Physical Presence
According to Ifejirika, Jetpay currently operates physical offices in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, Delta, and Anambra states, alongside an international office in China.
He said the company plans to open new offices in Enugu, Aba, and Ebonyi states in 2026, describing the locations as strategically important for expanding access to crypto trading services across Nigeria’s South-East region.
“Blord Group has been the only crypto brand that has remained consistent for the past seven years. Since 2019, we have been trading crypto with no delays and fast payments,” Ifejirika said.
He added that Jetpay’s physical footprint is intended to strengthen trust and customer engagement in a sector where many users value direct access to support and in-person verification.
Services and Customer Engagement
Beyond crypto-to-naira conversion, Jetpay positions its platform as a one-chat, multi-transaction system, enabling users to complete cryptocurrency trades and gift card sales through a single interface, supported by dedicated customer service.
The company allows Nigerians to convert cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum and USDT into naira almost instantly, offering real-time exchange rates, secure processing, and rapid payouts to local bank accounts.
Jetpay also provides gift card redemption services for more than 50 global brands, including Apple, Amazon, Google Play, Steam, eBay, Sephora, and Nordstrom, catering to both individuals and businesses seeking quick access to crypto liquidity.
Ifejirika encouraged users to engage with Jetpay exclusively through its official channels, noting that customers can reach the company via WhatsApp or the Jetpay website, with contact details listed on his social media profiles.
“If you want to trade crypto, it’s very simple. Please trade with us; there are no challenges, and we have dedicated customer service to assist you,” he said.
Part of a Broader Group Strategy
Jetpay operates under Blord Group, a conglomerate with interests spanning real estate, technology, and digital finance. Through its crypto arm, the group aims to capture a larger share of Nigeria’s expanding digital asset economy as adoption continues to rise nationwide.
